Supervised by Mike Bishop, LMFT-S
Are you seeking change and solutions but don't know where to start? Are your current solutions no longer working? I truly believe that we all have to capacity to heal and sometimes we need a guide to help us explore and find answers. Whether you are struggling with self esteem, relationship issues, addiction, mental illness, or communication, I would like to help guide you along your journey to health. I enjoy working with individuals and couples.
I work by increasing awareness, fostering insight, creating meaning, and eliciting your strengths. I use a combination of solution-focused, person-centered, and narrative techniques, and I frequently borrow tools from ACT, CBT, and DBT. I use humor, directness, and appropriate self-disclosure to build the therapeutic relationship.
